Overview:
Jhpiego seeks a Behavior Change Communications (BCC) Specialist for an upcoming USAID-funded family planning (FP) and maternal and child health (MCH) project in Mindanao. The BCC Specialist will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of BCC strategies (including mass media), interventions and materials, and provide BCC training/capacity building activities.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Public Health, communications, marketing, or other relevant field
At least five years of demonstrated experience designing and implementing behavior change interventions in public health programs
Demonstrated skills in networking and coordination with other
organizations
Previous experience working in Philippines
Proficiency in word processing and Microsoft Office software
Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Filipino is a plus
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Filipino nationals strongly encouraged
Must have at least five years of demonstrated experience designing and implementing behaviour change interventions in public health programmes. Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Filipino is a plus. Deadline for application - 2 September 2012.
