Nursing Officer/Midwife CCBRT

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable them to achieve their legitimate potential.

Duties to Include:

• Ensuring necessary preparation of patient is done before the patient sees the doctor.
• Assembling instruments and equipment e.g. patient examination and dye.
• Completing fistula card (patient history sheet) for admitted patients.
• Translating information from patient to doctor from Kiswahili to English and vice versa where there is language barrier between the doctor and the patient

Work Experience / Skills:

· Have experience in communicating effectively especially with patients, doctors and other staff respectively (E)

· Have experience in preparing the room and all necessary equipment for the clinic (E)

· Good interpersonal skills (E)

Qualifications:

· Diploma In Nursing

E – Essential, P – Preferred
