Toolkit Content Specialist Consultant

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Consultant who will serve as child rights content specialist for its Child Rights Toolkit project.

Qualification:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to cull relevant information from large volume of substantive content
• Excellent writing skills and ability to tailor to specific audiences, especially non-child rights development professionals
• 7+ years of experience and demonstrated expertise in child rights across the different areas covered by the Toolkit, especially with programmatic and policy implementation
• Familiarity with and access to specific case studies and concrete action items used in specific country settings to implement child rights.
• Significant familiarity with EU’s approach to child rights as a donor and with EU’s guidance, policies and aid instruments on child rights highly desirable.
• Master’s Degree in Law, Human Rights, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Social Policy, Public Policy or International Development;
