The Organisation

With a joint portfolio producing over 100 kboe/ day, our goal is to continue building a truly excellent Exploration and Production business in Offshore Europe.
Position Summary
This role provides professional HR business partnering support to our Operated business unit. Providing support and HR advice to BGE, BGD & some BGC level leaders within Offshore Europe. Responsible for providing a seamless HR service and contributing to the overall business success of their client group.
Key Accountabilities
Supports the HRBP in delivery of the HR cycle for client group, including communication of key HR processes and supporting line managers in their implementation.
Managing ER issues within area of responsibility and liasing with HRBP and legal counsel as appropriate
Supporting and coaching line managers on day-to-day HR issues, acting as a trusted business partner and demonstrating a high level of professionalism and credibility
Proactively engage with business stakeholders to deliver business centred HR support and solutions
Maintaining good working relationships with the client groups e.g. visits Offshore to conduct HR surgeries and communicate key HR updates
Proactively engage with HR colleagues to share best practice, knowledge in the pursuit of functional excellence

Provide out of hours oncall ER (Emergency Response) for offshore Operations on a rotational basis
Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Good understanding of HR theory and practice.

Experience in providing first line support.
Emergency Response Training desirable.
Experience in working with Offshore personnel desirable.
Delivery focused with excellent organisational skills and capability to work to tight deadlines as part of a team.
Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and interface with internal/external stakeholders
Proven relationship and influencing skills; ability to establish personal credibility with client group.
Relevant project management, problem solving and process improvement skills.
Proven ability to understand the business issues of their client groups
Self starter capable of demonstrating initiative and committed to continuous improvement.
A collaborative approach, able to work effectively with and through others.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Additional Information for External Candidates
Required to cover rota for Emergency Response for offshore Operations
 
Required to travel regularly to Offshore Installations and Norway and TVP, Reading
