Major donor officer At Christian Aid

At Christian Aid we have a vision of a better world, free from poverty, and we are investing in fundraising with a long-term strategy that will enable us to have an even greater impact. If you share our vision and you are an exceptional fundraiser who can deliver significant income from high net-worth individuals, this could be the job for you.
Working in the major donor team, you will manage a portfolio of existing major donors and work proactively with our researcher to identify prospects. You will move your donors successfully through the eight steps of major donor fundraising in order to secure income and create positive and long term relationships.
With a solid track record of successful major gift fundraising, or a corporate sales background, you will be well practised in managing relationships with key supporters, developing innovative solicitation plans, be able to produce sophisticated and targeted proposals and reports on Christian Aid’s work and make inspiring and persuasive face-to-face presentations to secure financial support. You will help organise and lead on engagement events and have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, the ability to meet financial and non-financial targets and a willingness to travel is essential.
An understanding of international development is desirable.
