Trusts and foundations officer At Christian Aid

We are seeking an effective and successful fundraiser to help us drive growth and continue to achieve on our ambitious fundraising goals. The post holder will join a team of seven people working to leverage funds from Trusts and Foundations in the UK, Europe and the US. Specifically, the team is looking to expand its work in Europe and grow on successes already gained in this area. Therefore this role with be a new post within the team.
With a solid track record of successful high fundraising from Trusts and Foundations, you will be well practised in managing relationships, making persuasive applications and inspiring face-to-face presentations to secure financial support, networking and influencing. You will be able to produce sophisticated and targeted proposals and reports on Christian Aid’s work and will have excellent relationship building skills. You will enjoy working with prospects and bringing cold donors on board with Christian Aid’s work.
More than half the world lives in poverty. We aim to put a stop to that. So we campaign against the inequalities that keep people poor and we work with local organisations to give people strength to find their own solutions to the problems they face, irrespective of their religion.
