The Organisation
Group Functions are the central core of non-technical expertise behind the smooth day-to-day running of BG Group’s business. This area includes professionals in Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Policy & Corporate Affairs. Together they provide strategic direction and support to our Group Executive Committee, Business area managers, and Asset Management teams, helping to underpin our frontline business activities.
Position Summary
This role is part of a team who are responsible for driving organisational design and change across the BG Group business. The Organisational Design and Change Consultant shall partner with the business where organisation change expertise is required.

This role will understand, design and implement change projects for BG Group using the BG Group change toolkit. It will also diagnose, design and implement team effectiveness interventions. The role will be part of a team which will build change capability within BG Group and ensure the business is supported through organisational change.
Key Accountabilities
  • Acting as an organisational change consultant within BG Group, driving the business towards efficient and effective solutions.
  • Diagnosing, developing and facilitating change interventions using the BG Group toolkit.
  • Designing and providing consultative input into change initiatives throughout the company.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of business change capability and our common change toolkit.
  • Providing coaching on change process, models and tools to line managers (up to executive level) and HR Business Partners.
  • Keeping up to date on external best practice on change and bringing new ideas into our approach to change.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of an overall schedule / picture of change for BG Group.
  • Managing external change consultants where appropriate.
