About the Job: 
FINCA International is looking for a Savings Area Supervisor (SAS). S/he will monitor and actively participate to the progressive growth of savings in the respective branches s/he is supervising.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Directly responsible to increase the savings volumes and numbers and to achieve the branch(es) targets;
  • Monitor and analyze the daily savings results of the branches within region and prepares the weekly/monthly action plan for the savings officers;
  • Suggest specific or particular savings promotion activities according to the area;
  • Together with the branch manager(s) plan and visit the important customers in the area, the list of all big potential savers;
  • Assist and train the branch(es) staff on savings products knowledge and to communicate any changes on savings products features and procedures;
  • Prepare the action plan to reach top savers of the branch(es) according to the head office instructions;
  • Supervise and support the savings officer(s) during the everyday performance and provides savings guidance for selling and cross-selling process to credit supervisors/AROs and tellers;
  • Monitor the savings officers’ performance, set up goals at the beginning of the year, review on mid-year, and a general review on the achievements end of year, and prepare the evaluation form upon HR request.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field desirable;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking system, business department/branches, preferable in savings area. At least 6 months experience in a supervisory role;
  • Knowledge of banking business, savings, credit, and/or field work experience is an advantage;
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written is required. Knowledge of local languages strongly desirable.
