Position Summary

The gender and education professional will work with IREX staff to design a multi-modal gender and education training module for an international educator audience that IREX will use for future training sessions.

Duties & Responsibilities

The objectives of the training module and resource kit include, but are not limited to:

·               Defining and analyzing issues in education around gender;

·               Identifying and characterizing global best practices in gender and education; and

·               Adapting and integrating best practices into curriculum, lessons, standards, and the broader school community.

Qualifications

·               Demonstrated development field experience in education with gender emphasis;

·               Demonstrated experience in mainstreaming gender in education sector programs;

·               Expertise in undertaking gender analysis in program planning and design;

·               Knowledge and experience working with international and ESL/ELL audiences;

Strong collaboration, international communication, and technology skills required.
