Job Summary

​The Building Services team is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Sydney.  This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a number of major projects and assist with developing the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Development of Greenfield sites from development applications through to construction.
  • Internal building services fit-out / base building design.
  • Preparation of specifications and design calculations.
  • Review of design documentation and preparation of budgets and recommendations.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Administration and management of site activities and installations.
  • Managing project and client deadlines, commitments and expectations.
  • Tracking financial changes as they arise throughout the project.
  • Managing a team of multi-discipline designers for project completion, providing support & guidance.
  • Supporting leadership in a client-centric team culture with a focus on effective project delivery to time, cost and quality expectations.
  • Engaging in Business Development activities to attract new business and build client relationships.
  • Electrical engineering design and consulting including however, not limited to; interior and exterior lighting design, general power and electrical sub-systems, telecommunications, security and access control.
  • Coordination of Building Services Engineering documentation.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Approaching all situations with a positive attitude.

Other Requirements

  • ​Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
  • Experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • 6- 8 plus year’s industry experience in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients and maintain solid client relationships.
  • A desire to focus on producing and delivering a high standard of quality, working effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying and solving problems to create innovative outcomes in line with client needs.
  • A willingness to pursue self-development for career advancement.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
