Job Summary

​The Building Services team is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Sydney.  This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a number of major projects and assist with developing the team.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Internal building fit-out design
• Preparation of specifications and design calculations.
• Review of design documentation and preparation of recommendations.
• Managing client relationships.
• Administration and management of site activities and installations.
• Engaging in Business Development activities to attract new business and build client relationships.
• Mechanical engineering design and consulting.
• Coordination of Building Services Engineering documentation.
• Regular site inspections to ensure progress is maintained.
• Managing a team of multi-discipline designers for project completion.
• Mentoring junior staff.

Other Requirements

• ​Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
• Experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients and maintain solid client relationships.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• A desire to focus on producing and delivering outcomes to a high standard of quality, working effectively and efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying and solving problems to create innovative outcomes in line with client needs.
• A willingness to pursue self-development for career advancement.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
