Job Summary
Due to expansion, Cardno Emerging Markets (UK) Ltd is seeking a Consultant to join our Social and Environmental Impact Management (SEIM) team, based in our offices in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Cardno’s SEIM team works with companies to unlock socially responsible opportunities to better serve local communities. We focus on private investment flows into emerging markets, helping companies operate more sustainably and responsibly in the development word. Cardno’s SEIM team works with clients, primarily in the oil, gas and mining sectors.
Duties will include but not limited to:

Cardno’s SEIM team works with clients, primarily in the oil, gas and mining sectors.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Market research and identification of new business opportunities
- Development of winning bids through contributing to the methodology design, team selection and supporting documents
- Development of communication and marketing materials
- Identification of partners and experts
- Drafting and negotiation of contracts
- Project management and support to teams in the field
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess:
- At least 3 years’ experience of working for extractive companies, specialised consultancies similar industry associations
- Experience of successfully winning and implementing and managing international economic development projects
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven commercial environment
- Excellent and demonstrable communication skills, written, oral and presentation
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Available for international travel
Other Requirements
Proficiency in French, Spanish or Portuguese would be advantageous
