1. SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION
Qualifications and Experience:
• A PhD in Soil Pedology/Soil Science. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. Knowledge of biometrics will be an added advantage.
Duties:
1. To teach Soil Pedology and Soil Survey, Introductory Soil Science, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.
2. To supervise Research Projects for undergraduate students
3. To supervise Thesis/dissertation for post-graduate students
4. To conduct research in soil Pedology and related areas.
5. To perform community service in soil science and related areas.

2. SENIOR LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION
Qualifications and Experience:
• A PhD in Agricultural Entomology. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
Duties:
1. To teach Agricultural Entomology including systematic, toxicology, physiology, crop pests, and pest control of cultivated crops and storage pests.
2. To teach Agricultural Entomology including IPM and insect taxonomy at Post-graduate level.
3. To supervise Research Projects for undergraduate students
4. To supervise Thesis/dissertation for post-graduate students
5. To conduct research in Agricultural Entomology and related areas.
6. To perform community service in Agric. Entomology- related areas.

4. SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN COMMUNICATIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least an MSc in Electronics or related area • University teaching experience at Senior Lecturer Level for appointment as Senior Lecturer.
Duties:
1. Teach undergraduate courses in Electromagnetics, Communications and related areas
2. Carry out research and development work in his/her discipline.

Qualifications and Experience:
• At least an MSc in Electronics or related area. • University teaching experience at Senior Lecturer Level for appointment as Senior Lecturer.
Duties:
1. Teach undergraduate courses in Electronics, Microcontrollers and related areas
2. Carry out research and development work in his/her discipline

6. PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN ELECTRICAL MACHINES AND/OR POWER ENGINEERING IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least a PhD in a relevant area • Must already be Professor/Associate Professor at a recognized university • Extensive refereed research publications • Compliance with engineers’ professional registration criteria. • Proven competence to provide academic and administrative leadership
Duties:
1. Teach courses in Electrical Power Engineering
2. Carry out research.
3. Provide academic and administrative guidance to the department.
4. Develop and maintain links with industry

7. PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN ELECTRONICS AND DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least a PhD in a relevant area • Must already be Professor/Associate Professor at a recognized university • Extensive refereed research publications • Compliance with engineers’ professional registration criteria. • Proven competence to provide academic and administrative leadership

1. Teach courses in electronics and Digital Signal Processing.
2. Carry out research.
3. Provide academic and administrative guidance to the department.

8. COORDINATOR OF ACADEMIC STUDIES UNIT IN THE INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION
Qualifications and Experience:
• D.Ed. or PhD. in Distance Education or Adult Education or Education. • Experience in working in Distance Education and in Commuting necessary.
Duties:
1. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the academic programs in IDE and the work of the Subject Coordinators.
2. Coordinate the Admission, Registration, Exams and processing of Exam results of IDE students.
3. Coordinate the process of identifying, recruitment, training & supervision of IDE lecturers, tutors and center coordinators.

9. COORDINATOR, MULTI MEDIA SPECIALIST IN THE INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least a Master’s Degree in the field of Multi Media and ICT’S. • Several years of work experience in developing Multi Media lessons.
Duties:
1. Providing support in the Design, Development and Production of online lessons, Audio and Video lessons.
2. Developing documentation and training staff on Production lessons in (1).
3. Providing expertise on the appropriate pedagogical uses of technology and on Instructional Design Support.

10. PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ADULT EDUCATION
Qualifications and Experience:
• PhD or closely related Doctorate in the Social Science, with a strong component of Management. • Experience in working with adult learners.
Duties:
1. To teach Post Graduate & under Graduate courses.
2. To supervise Masters Theses and research projects.
3. To conduct research in discipline and engage in community service.
