Team Leader – Regional policy expert

Qualifications and skills

• University diploma in a discipline relevant to the assignment, or equivalent;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Russian and/or Belarusian (spoken);
• Knowledge of the EU regional policy;
• Knowledge of regional development policies in ex-Tacis, ex-Phare, or IPA beneficiary countries would be an advantage;

General professional experience

• Preferably more than 15 years but a minimum of 8 years of general professional experience;
• Experience on senior management positions in public administration, private company or nonprofit organisation would be an advantage.

Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years experience in the area relevant to the assignment;
• Experience in providing advice on the national level in the regional policy sector;
• Experience as a team leader in at least one service contract, preferably with budget exceeding EUR 2 million;
• Experience in EU funded projects in ex-Tacis, ex-Phare, or IPA beneficiary countries would be an advantage.
• Experience in training delivery would be an advantage.
