Public Financial Management Senior Expert- India

Qualification
and skills
• Either: MSc or equivalent in public financial management;
• Or: Chartered Accountancy or equivalent, with public financial
management experience;
• Fluency in English both written and oral;
• Proven communication and presentation skills as well as excellent
report writing skills.
Professional
experience
• At least 10 years of international professional experience in the field
of public budgeting/public sector auditing/public expenditure
management;
• Demonstrated professional experience in conducting PFM
assessments, preferably according to the PerformanceMeasurement
Framework of the PEFA;
• Demonstrated experience in developing PFM reform programmes and assessing PFM institutions including audit systems;
• Working experience in the region; prior professional experience in
India and familiarity with the local public institutional setup would be
an important asset;
• Proven familiarity and experience with EU budget support operations, particularly with eligibility requirements.
