The Coordinator, Foundation Ambassadors and Communications is a member of the Media Communications and Editorial Services team, working under the Executive Vice President of Communications, Advocacy and Development and managed by the Associate Director, Media Communications and Editorial Services. As a member of the Media Communications and Editorial Services team the Coordinator, Foundation Ambassadors and Communications will manage and support strategic initiatives that elevate the Foundation’s brand and increase awareness of global mission through use of our Foundation Ambassadors.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise successful international spokesperson program, creating, implementing, recruiting and managing opportunities for body of advocates and communicators, representing Foundation.
Build and shape Ambassador program into well-rounded, professional group, representative of the Foundation’s history, current and future work, and mission.
Serve as main contact for Ambassadors and prospective Ambassadors.
Serve as internal contact for speaking, media, and event Ambassador requests.
Draft, edit, and organize all Ambassador speeches, blog posts, editorials, talking points, and articles.
Prepare Ambassadors and Foundation spokespeople for upcoming activities and events, creating memos, overseeing travel plans, and supporting overall outcome of their involvement.
Organize, track, and quantify outputs of Ambassadors program.
Publicize Ambassador program to internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline preferred.
At least 1-2 years of relevant marketing leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Significant relationship building and partnership management experience.
Creative thinker with the ability to proactively develop new ideas
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Team player, self-motivated, can lead multiple projects independently from concept to completion.
Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
