COS Administrative Support Specialist


Description

This task provides support to the Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division (A3C), Personnel Recovery (PR) Division (A3J) and the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP)/Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) Division (A3F) to accomplish the ACC Director of Operations (ACC/A3) responsibility to Organize, Train and Equip the Combat Air Force (CAF).
 
Duties include (but are not limited to):
 
  1. Support military, Government civilians and Contractors for daily administrative and personnel functions for approximately 130 personnel (22 AGRs, 105 reservists and 3 contractors).
  2. Track and review military performance reports, promotion recommendation forms, military feedback forms, and military awards and decorations for approximately 127 military personnel.
  3. Maintain, review and correct personnel records to include duty status, duty title changes, change of raters, and position number changes for approximately 127 AF Reservists and 3 contractor personnel.
  4. Maintain inventory, and submit requests for administrative office supplies and equipment for the unit.
  5. In the absence of the unit secretary perform information management and administrative support for the division chief and deputy; maintain division chief and deputy's office calendars; monitor organizational box; assign taskers to correct OPR; and receive telephone calls ascertaining the nature of the calls.
  6. Ensure 40As are correctly generated and submitted so unit Traditional Reservists (TRs) are paid accurately for IDT (Inactive Duty Training) periods performed each month.
  7. Edit, modify, maintain branch calendar with personal schedule to include appointments, leave, vacation and travel.
  8. Manage assigned NIPRNET/ SIPRNET e-mails/tasks and TMT tasks and ensures all responses are properly staffed and formatted before being released by leadership.
     
     
 

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years information management experience in military and civilian personnel functions and records management to include MILPEDS, Records Information Management System (RIMS), AFRIMS, or equivalent systems. Minimum 3 years experience in military personnel mobility program management and ancillary training management
 
Applicants selected for this position will require an activeDoD Secret clearance, and background screening. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
