Our International Emergencies and Crises Team will rely on you to provide support to the team. You will offer business support to this multi-located team, supporting team meetings and plans. You will manage and prioritise the Head of IECT’s diary as well as coordinate logistics from scheduling and preparing meetings to answering calls and organising travel. You will take and circulate minutes that will inform the organization about emergencies and crises work at the most senior levels, and carry out general admin duties that will help to ensure that the department runs smoothly. In this support role, you will be expected to get involved with the content of the emergencies and crises work, doing desk based research and providing information to support the team’s work.
Your extensive admin and executive support experience should mean you’re adept at project management and can be trusted to use your initiative. Highly organised and hawk-like in your attention to detail, you can keep several projects on track at a time. Great at touch typing, you are a whizz on the PC, with an advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You also like to be busy and enjoy working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds.
