Head of Advisory Services, South Asia

IFC’s Advisory Services (AS) executes a comprehensive program of initiatives in the South Asia region. This assistance provides solutions for clients in four main areas: Access to Finance, Sustainable Business Advisory, Investment Climate, Privatization and Public-Private Partnerships, working jointly with Investment Services (IS) to deliver maximum development impact to clients.
The successful candidate will lead and manage South Asia AS and will have management responsibility for all staff including their performance, development and contribution to the work program. He/she will lead the development and delivery of an integrated regional program and ensure close alignment between AS and IS leveraging and fostering close collaboration within the World Bank Group. He/she will maintain and expand in-country relationships with government agencies, the business and donor communities by acting as the relationship management leader. Requirements:
- MA in business, finance or equivalent, and a minimum of 15+ years’ professional experience in private sector development.
- Recognized project and program management skills with proven track records of success in developing client relationships and execution.
