This is your opportunity to progress the post-2015 development framework as you monitor and assess developments in the global economy and their effects on member countries, and make a significant contribution to G20 policy development work.
This will involve undertaking and / or managing policy research and analysis; organising meetings to share knowledge and experience; advocacy and consensus-building; and preparing reports on facets of the world economy.

Part of the Economic Affairs Division, our International Finance and Capital Markets Section provides policy development, advisory services, advocacy and consensus-building on national and international economic and financial issues; organises the Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meeting and Ministerial Debt Sustainability Forum; and runs workshops to share knowledge and experience, build consensus and disseminate the results of its analytical and diagnostic work.
With a post-graduate Economics degree or other post-graduate degree which includes strong Economics components, you must have significant experience of international economic analysis, policy formulation and financing for development at a senior level within government, an international financial institution or research organisation, including NGO, as well as extensive experience of working in, or on, developing countries.
All applicants must be a national of a Commonwealth country and able to operate effectively in our multi-cultural setting.
