As Programme and Humanitarian Funding Assistant you will provide financial and admin support to our Programme Funding and the Humanitarian Resilience and Response Teams. You will contribute to the achievement of objectives and income targets by helping programme funding and contract management activities. This will include processing invoices, purchase orders and expenses, preparing monthly reports as well as updating and maintaining records. In addition, you will be involved in the development of systems and processes to ensure the teams operate as efficiently as possible. You will also help prepare tenders and proposals as well as build our knowledge bank.
With some exposure to project or programme management, ideally with an International NGO, you will have developed sound knowledge of the development sector and current trends and priorities. As well as solid admin skills you will have an eye for detail, be a proficient user of MSOffice as well as being comfortable working in a cross cultural setting. Numeracy and a good standard of English is a must.
