Job Summary

​Cardno is seeking an Application Developer who will be responsible for building, modifying and supporting various applications within the Cardno environment.

Location preference (in no particular order):
Lafayette, LA
Clearwater or Riverview, FL
Houston, TX
Portland, OR

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• All phases of the SDLC may be required on projects.
• Interact with end users and system owners for scope development, development activities primarily within
• .NET and Sharepoint as well as SQL database creation and maintenance will be required.
• Assist with system testing, documentation (both code documentation and end user materials)
• Provide training assistance may be needed.

Other Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma.Bachelor of Science in Information Technology strongly preferred.3 - 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, CSS, HTML, JavaScript and XML.Experience with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint designer 2007, exposure to SharePoint 2013.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with Sharepoint (development & administration), IIS and web services as well as Project Management, SQL Server integration.
• .NET and other programming languages desired.Strong SQL query and stored procedure skills are a plus.Microsoft Developer certification preferred.
