Job Summary

Cardno ATC is a national engineering/consulting firm that specializes in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection services.  Cardno ATC is currently seeking a candidate to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Engineering Division Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain project profits and loses, utilization goals for staff, identify strategic acquisitions and hires, client relations, subcontractor relations, perform inspections, prepare proposals, inter and intra office relations

Other Requirements

Education/Experience/Certifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering
• 5-20 years of experience in construction and geotechnical investigations/design as well as 1-10 years office management experience
• State of NV registered P.E. is required
• Must reside in Clark County, NV and be approved by Clark County Building Department as an Engineering Manager.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Must be knowledgeable in the construction materials testing and geotechnical fields, familiar with local job market and contacts
• Should be able to manage staff including materials testing laboratory technicians, QAA inspectors, and junior geotechnical engineers
• Must be capable of business development and proposal preparation
• Should be able to interview and be approved as Engineering Manager by Clark County NV Building Department
• Must possess strong geotechnical and construction background in NV and be able to market/develop client base
