Cardno ENTRIX is seeking an Archaeologist to help our cultural resources group and to work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists, hydrologists, geologists, engineers and planners on a variety of projects in the Rockies/Northern Plains and the western United States. The majority of the projects will include cultural resources investigations for energy, transportation, other infrastructure, and federal and state agency projects.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Field and technical participation
- Report and proposal writing
- Research and mapping
- Technical support to various projects
Other Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- MA or MS in Anthropology or Archaeology
- 3 to 5 years of consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in archaeological field investigations on the Northern Plains, including intensive survey
- Experience working in the field on cultural resource projects including government and/or private sector contracts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Strong business/client orientation
- Ability to travel frequently to field sites & other Cardno ENTRIX office locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment
- Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to competently conduct files and literature search
- Ability to conduct intensive field survey and cultural resource inventory, archaeological site testing, artifact and site analysis, National Register eligibility evaluation, along with report preparation
- Ability to participate with professional discretion and judgment in meetings with clients and review/regulatory agencies and in marketing cultural resources and environmental services
- Training in NHPA Section 106 and NEPA compliance preferred
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Self-motivated; strong initiative
- Detail oriented; resourceful
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) a plus
