Position Summary
To provide general Human Resources support by working with the Global Energy Marketing & Shipping HR Business Partners to enable effective business partnering to occur. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Key Accountabilities
• Interface with the business on a daily basis by responding to general queries, advising on policies, processes.
• Support business partners through timely and accurate delivery of appropriate reports, letters, job offers and cyclical communications • Provide support to the implementation of the annual HR Cycle • Provide support to Global Energy Marketing & Shipping Resourcing and headcount planning processes • Provide support to expat assignment and locazliation process - support to clients and interface with BG's Global Mobility team.
• Take part in the design, updating and dissemination of Human Resources policies.
• Drive & facilitate all cyclical HR processes by resolving technical issues, answering questions and advising best practice • Support the recruitment process for interns, BGE & BGD roles by preparing and reviewing job descriptions & occasional interviews • Manage employee exit process, conduct exit interviews and provide any feedback where needed, and ensure the administrative processes are completed in a timely manner • Compile reports and other analysis (such as org charts, cost analysis, etc.) on an ad hoc basis, as requested by the business/HR Business Partners • Audit org charts regularly to ensure the SAP data is up to date • Draft change emails to be sent to employees • Support diversity initiatives by helping Resourcing manage good faith efforts in support of our Affirmative Action Plan • Responsible for new hire onboarding to ensure that new hires complete actions within appropriate timeframes and follow-up where required. • Work closely with the HR Coordinator to ensure systems and files are up to date and accurate – act as the liaison between the HR BPs and respective admin activities as described in the HR Coordinator JD • May be required to back up the HR Coordinator • Other related activities as directed Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Experience Needed:
• Experience tracking, organizing, and analyzing details and data – preferable in some HR activities
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to data integrity • Desirable knowledge and ability to operate SAP – ability to work and operate HR systems
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance
• Intermediate to advanced experience with all MS Office applications • Experience multi-tasking in a fast paces environment Specialist Knowledge/Languages:
• Self-motivator with ability to set and drive the agenda and ensure implementation of process excellence across scope of work.
