Cardno ENTRIX is seeking a staff level Terrestrial Biologist or Environmental Scientist to work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists, ecologists and engineers on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Field data collection, data entry, and analysis
- Basic GIS work for data analysis and map/figure preparation
- Regulatory permitting support
- Work closely with Senior Staff and Project Managers
- Report Writing
- Administrative support duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

- B.S. degree or higher in biology, environmental science, natural science, or related field
- At least three (3) years related experience
- Experience with waterway permitting, ecological surveys, ecological studies, data analysis, and data interpretation
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for NEPA/CEQA, ESA, Clean Water Act, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in GIS (basic cartography skills)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with wide range of clients in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary group in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Willing and able to travel to field sites and other Cardno ENTRIX office locations throughout North America America (up to 50% travel)
- Prior experience in the consulting industry
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Self-motivated; strong initiative
- Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) a plus
