Cardno ENTRIX is seeking a staff level Terrestrial Biologist or Environmental Scientist to work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists, ecologists and engineers on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

​Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Field data collection, data entry, and analysis
• Basic GIS work for data analysis and map/figure preparation
• Regulatory permitting support
• Work closely with Senior Staff and Project Managers
• Report Writing
• Administrative support duties as needed

Other Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree or higher in biology, environmental science, natural science, or related field
• At least three (3) years related experience
• Experience with waterway permitting, ecological surveys, ecological studies, data analysis, and data interpretation
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for NEPA/CEQA, ESA, Clean Water Act, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in GIS (basic cartography skills)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with wide range of clients in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary group in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
• Willing and able to travel to field sites and other Cardno ENTRIX office locations throughout North America America (up to 50% travel)

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the consulting industry
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Self-motivated; strong initiative
• Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) a plus
