Business Coach [French] - VC4Africa Accelerator

VC4Africa will be running an online acceleration program for 10 promising entrepreneurs working on mobile based solutions. The program will be delivered in French (French-speaking course coordinator, French-speaking sector experts, French language materials: presentations, homework assignments, business cases, readings) with a sector focus on ICT, and mobile innovations in particular.

We are looking for: Course coordinator and business consultant

Requirements: French language, experience in ICT, experience with Africa and doing business on the continent, preferably experience running group workshops, intermediating group discussions and Q&A sessions.

Tasks and time investment

- September: prepare the program content and all the course materials (presentations, business cases, home assignments); 
- October: if needed, implement curriculum changes based on feedback, finalize all the materials in French;
- Mid-November until end-January: run the course (1 group introductory session, 6 weekly online group workshops, 3 one-on-one sessions with each of 10 participants, checking homework and providing individual feedback).

Approximate timeline

- October 20th 2014: 10 finalists will be known
- November 12th 2014 - Competition final, intake interviews
- November 17th 2014 - Start Online Acceleration Program with 6 weekly workshops and personal coaching (with 2 weeks break for Christmas / New Year)
- January 19th 2015 - Graduation of cohort, introductions to investors, success stories published, after care participants
- January 26th 2015 - Program review and final report
