About Your Job:
As the Health & Safety (First Aid) Specialist you will be responsible for developing a range of health and safety related courses under the direction of the Senior Manager Learning and Development. The types of courses include general health and safety through to introductory and certified first aid training.
Your initiative, ’can do’ attitude and a passion for learning will enable you to create solid professional relationships with selected staff in stakeholder departments within the business. You will act as an ambassador for Group Learning and Development by forging and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers. You will coach and be coached by fellow colleagues and team members.
You will be challenged to design and develop training materials based on best practice Learning & Development methodology. It will be your responsibility to assist with the planning, developing and designing of related training packages and activities.
About You:
To be successful in this role you must have either a Bachelors Degree or a Vocational Qualification from a recognized university or similar registered training provider in a field related to health and safety, medical or first aid. You should be a certified practitioner for St John’s First Aid (or similar).
You will have a minimum of 5 years training experience in a Health and Safety related field and a minimum of 4 years experience in the delivery of St John’s First Aid courses. Excellent English communication skills are required and the ability to communicate fluently in Arabic will be an asset.
