Dorcas Aid International Kenya - a Christian Relief and Development organization seeks to recruit a Christian Driver / Logistics with the following experience:

Job summary

• Provide reliable, secure and efficient transport and logistic services to the organization and ensure that vehicles are well maintained.

Duties include:

• Driving and maintaining vehicles with a focus on safety and customer care
• Ensuring scheduled vehicle maintenance is undertaken.
• Taking inventory of vehicles daily and updating the log-sheets
• Ensure insurance covers and road inspection certificates are up to date.
• Arranging transport for Dorcas staff and visitors to the field and as may be assigned.
• Delivery of parcels/mails whenever necessary.

Required qualifications and competences:

• Not less that 7 years experience of safe and accident free driving.
• O level with a minimum of c-
• Training in mechanics will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili;
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports;
• A working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs;
• Extensive knowledge on the operations and features of vehicle(s)
• Must be 35 years and above
• Must possess a valid copy of certificate of good conduct
• Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs.
