Deputy Programme Director
EveryChild is an international development charity working to stop children growing up vulnerable and alone. We work to keep families together, keep vulnerable children safe, and get children back with a safe and caring family.
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced individual to provide strategic direction, leadership and management of our country programmes.
Working in a number of countries within the regions of Asia, South America and the Caribbean, Africa, Eastern Europe, South Caucuses and Central Asia, our programmes are delivering interventions through branch offices, partners and consultancies to provide children who are, or risk being, separated, a safe, secure future.
You will be responsible for driving forward the global programme strategy and managing delivery of the country strategies through a team of country directors and taking forward expansion and exit as planned for geographic shift of the country portfolio. There is an expectation of overseas travel of at least 3 months per year.
As a member of the programme’s leadership team you will be a key player in demonstrating and communicating our expertise, building our income base, identifying and sharing good practise and managing effective use of our resources to reduce the number of children without parental care globally. You can expect to manage a budget in the region of £4-5 Million.
