VACANCY – DISTRIBUTION MANAGER - NIGERIA
Position Title: Distribution Manager
Duty Station: Lagos, Nigeria
Basic Purpose:
To set up the distribution network for a fresh produce (fruit) company that is currently being set up in Nigeria
Main Responsibilities and Duties
The ideal candidate will
- Oversee the set up of refrigerated depots throughout Nigeria as well as manage the business.
- Organize the implementation of depots in different cities.
- Oversee logistics, storage of fruit, make reports on stocks, sales, clients accounts and banks accounts.
- Forecast sales to be able to place orders in advance.
- Manage a local team of depot managers, sales, marketing and admin personnel.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be between 30 and 40 years old.
- Have an MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Have at least 5 years experience in a distribution in a management position.
- A candidate with a food distribution background would be preferred.
- Be very well organized and driven and be a person that likes challenges.
- Be in a position to start work by March 2011.
- Qualified candidates are of all nationalities are encouraged to apply
