REQUIREMENTS

Primary Qualification - Accredited Montessori Diploma
Secondary Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Education
Additional: Early Childhood Development (ECD) Diploma advantageous
First Aid certificate Level 1 essential
First Aid certificate Level 2 and or 3 advantageous

DUTIES

Products, services, programs and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisation’s mission and strategy
Prepared daily environment
Daily Montessori presentation
Daily housekeeping
Observation and stimulation of children’s social, emotional and psychic needs
Administration and record keeping
Informed parents via comprehensive verbal and written feedback
Quarterly Progress meetings with parents
Active playground duty
Managing health and safety in the environment
Risk assessments
Identifying hazards
Ensured health and safety of Children
Ability to produce and maintain stimulating quality resources and visual aids
Spiritual preparation
Projects
Health and Safety
Experience in handling 0-6 year age group
Nutritional knowledge
Administration knowledge
PC knowledge
Policies and procedures
