Research Fellow/Research Assistant in Epidemiology

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine - Faculty of epidemiology and population health, Department of non-communicable disease epidemiology

We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow with interests in obesity research. The post is based in the Department of Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology at LSHTM, and is funded by a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) grant for research on the assessment and management of childhood obesity. Applicants must have a post-graduate qualification in epidemiology or related field, and preferably some experience of epidemiological studies. Applicants should also have excellent communication and team-working skills.

The successful applicant will be appointed on a full-time basis for a period of 18 months from September 2011. The appointment will be made on the School's Research Fellow scale (£35,511-£40,349 per annum inclusive) or Research Assistant scale (£30,915-£35,511 per annum inclusive).
