Description:
The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) is pleased to offer internship opportunities to students interested in enhancing their understanding of the U.S.-Saudi business dynamic and promoting bilateral trade relations. As such, internships are only open to current undergraduate or graduate students. Applicants who have already graduated will not be considered. The Business Council Internship Program offers a position in two areas: communications and research.

The Business Council Internship Program provides interns with valuable and practical job experience. Responsibility, initiative, time management, and professional writing are just some of the skills our interns learn during their time with us. Additionally, interns have the opportunity to have informal lunch discussions with USSABC staff. Former Business Council interns have gone on to positions with the Brookings Institute, U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, International Monetary Fund, and have also been hired by the USSABC.

Our interns work closely with a designated Mentor who introduces them to the USSABC and guides them through their time with us. Some projects will be completed individually, while other projects will require more collaboration with the Mentor. At the completion of your internship, you will receive a $1,000 grant.

Internship dates follow the academic school year and are awarded for the Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May), and Summer (June-August). The Business Council is flexible and tries to accommodate individual schedules. During the Fall and Spring, interns are expected to work a minimum of 24 hours per week. During the Summer, interns are expected to work at least 32 hours per week.

All internships are located at our Washington, D.C., Metro Area office. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline for each session. Selected applicants will be contacted for interviews by the Business Council. No phone calls please.
