AusAID funded Economic Development Program – Indonesia

The objective of the Rural Economic Development program is: Increased competitiveness of poor female and male farmers. GRM International is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following positions for the upcoming Economic Development program in Indonesia.

Program Coordinator: You will ideally demonstrate experience in: • (at least 3 years) implementing market development projects in Indonesia and/or worldwide; • understanding of value chains and its specific constraints; • understanding of the Indonesian context, especially rural economy in Eastern Indonesia

Learning and Development Adviser:
You will ideally demonstrate experience in: • Undertaking simple Training Needs Analysis; • Developing and implementing Training Plans; • Evaluating training outcomes; • Monitoring the quality of training design and delivery; • Providing formal and on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring in a cross-cultural context.

Gender and Social Inclusion Adviser: You will ideally demonstrate experience in: • Development and management of GSI (Gender and Social Inclusion) programs • Building individual and organisational capacity in GSI • Extensive networks with Indonesian organisations working on GSI issues

Communication Adviser: You will ideally demonstrate experience in: • Setting up effective communication strategies; • With variety of channels, including the Internet, and a variety of content, ranging from scientific to informative and including reporting to GOI and donor agencies.

Finance Specialist: You will ideally demonstrate experience in: • Background in (micro) finance; • Project management experience in micro-finance, financial services; • Developing access to finance solution in agricultural context; • Providing formal and on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring in a cross-cultural context; • Experience developing plans for development of capacity.
