Senior Project Clerk , The Hague

Under the supervision of the Senior Training Staff Development Officer the incumbent performs the following duties:
· Administer training equipment and rooms (booking, set up and coordination with training delivering offices).
· Administer and manage the training databases of the branch, especially the databases in the Learning Management system (LMS) and databases outside of the LMS.
· Maintain and update the branch portal (main website and library websites).
· Contribute to conducting training needs analyses for information technology (IT) and other skills development.
· Contribute to the e-learning initiative of the Branch through administering the e-learning modules on the LMS and monitoring the usage of e-learning resources.
· Liaise with the Information Services Branch on all IT related issues, including the types of software used in the organisation.
· Ensure that the computer laboratory with 12 computers is well maintained and that equipment is tested and working before training events.
· Perform any other duties as required.
Knowledge and skills

· High School diploma or equivalent diploma of higher secondary education;
· Strong IT skills;
· Ability to work harmoniously in a multi-cultural environment;
· Personal qualities should include tact, accuracy and discretion;
· Good planning and coordination skills;
· Good communication skills;
· Good time management;
· Able to manage own workload while paying attention to the detail and keeping the big picture in mind.
Desirable:
· Certificate in MS Office user specialist (preferably advanced level); and/or European Computer Driving License or International Computer Driving License would be a distinctive advantage;
· Good understanding of website administration requirements and basic website creation;
Experience

· At least 4 years of progressively responsible related experience;
· Experience in database administration for a wide area network or cloud computing environment.
Desirable:
· Experience with developing IT training programmes.
· Previous work experience within an international organisation.
Languages

Fluency in English is essential and a good working knowledge of one of the other official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is desirable.
