Process Control Instrument Technician United States-Nevada-Cortez
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will be required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on various mine process equipment, and new electrical installations. Candidate will work closely with all Process Operations and Maintenance providing advice and support together with maintaining and modifying the control systems and control strategies.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Experience with leaky feeder systems and Motorola products preferred
• Formal Electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred
• Back computer knowledge preferred
• Demonstrated problem solving skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required
• Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required
