Our team - working from offices in Brussels, London and Warsaw – provides research, evaluation, impact assessment and technical assistance services to many Directorates-General of the European Commission and European agencies. We work in a number of different policy areas and on a diverse set of issues ranging from migration, human trafficking and climate change, to employment, growth and innovation.

Our Brussels-based team provides evaluation, impact assessment, research and technical assistance services to EU institutions, particularly the European Commission. We are looking for a Senior Consultant to be based in our Brussels office.

As a Senior Consultant you should have at least five years of relevant professional experience, including experience of working in a consultancy environment. In addition, experience of feasibility and impact assessments and evaluation of EU or national policies are essential. Experience of working for the European Commission and a foreign language would be desirable. Background in finance and/or economics would be an advantage.

In addition to a strong first or second degree in a relevant discipline, you will need to be able to show the following skills:

• Project management experience – leading research and/or evaluation/impact assessment assignments;
• Writing – ability to write analytically and carry out report writing to a very high level of quality in English;
• Strong analytical skills;
• A broad appreciation of public policy research methodologies including ideally quantitative analysis;
• Close attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines;
• Strong presentation skills; and,
• Excellent communication skills in English.
