Senior Human Resource Officer
(2-year fixed-term contract)

Salary: R211 284 per annum (all-inclusive package) (Ref. FTHRMD01)

Minimum requirements: • A National Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification (240 credits) • Relevant experience.

Core responsibilities: • Supervise and conduct recruitment, selection and placements of personnel • Provide assistance to departments during the recruitment and selection process • Supervise, implement and maintain policies and procedures with regard to recruitment and selection • Coordinate and supervise general administration with regard to recruitment and selection • Render a general human resource service • Facilitate departmental induction and orientation • Facilitate disciplinary measures to be taken against employees, as well as attend to grievances in the section • Maintain the Human Resource Information System in respect of recruitment and selection • Supervise the compilation of monthly reports • Assess budgetary needs for the section in order to compile a budget for the division • Be responsible for all allocated Council assets • Develop employees in the section .
