Web Producer (Corporate Publications) LSE

London School of Economics and Political Science - Communications (External Relations Division)
Salary: From £26,580 - £30,767 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £33,102 per annum inclusive.
The post-holder will contribute to the production and provision of the School's prospectuses (undergraduate and graduate) and programme/course regulations as web and print resources, with the focus being upon content rather than design. The post also includes scope to work on the LSE website's core infrastructure - CMS, servers, and templates - as well as limited support of corporate and academic websites. The post is based in Web Services, an office of the Communications department.
Candidates should have
  • Production and provision of large publications both in print and on WWW.
  • Proof reading (able to read/write proof reading terminology/symbols).
  • Production and provision of websites for one or more academic or similar organisation(s).
  • Demonstrable ability to operate a CMS, ideally Contensis.
  • HTML/XHTML coding experience.
  • Ideally, familiarity with databases and SQL.
