ACOUNTANT HEAD OFFICE (NAIROBI) HR/08/12/003
Responsibilities
Records financial transactions and information correctly for Clients’ i.e. loans/refunds on time and that the accounts are updated regularly and on time
To ensure efficient customer service by resolving client queries with regard to loans and refunds
To prepare accurate information for use by Management for decision making.
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. bankers and statutory organisations such as KRA;
Ensures accurate date is input in the Management Information System (MIS), so as to ensure accurate generation of reports as per deadlines
Processes the customer loan transactions and refunds in a timely manner
To ensure proper controls and follow-up of given procedures and policies
keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
Carries out bank reconciliations
Minimum Requirements
At least a C+ (Plus) and a CPA Part II
At least (2) years’ work experience in a financial institution with good knowledge of accounting packages eg. Sage, Pastel etc. plus proficiency in Computer knowledge
