ACOE LNO/Operations Officer to FORSCOM at Fort Bragg, NC


Description

Contractor shall support training conducted by the Army Center of Excellence (ACOE) for IED Defeat Initiatives and act as a liaison between ACOE and Fort Bragg, NC.  Contractor shall support daily liaison operations attending various FORSCOM meetings, working groups, or IPTs at FORSCOM headquarters (HQs) or offsite as needed. Responsible for serving as the direct liaison between JIEDDO/JCOE/ACOE and FORSCOM HQs, but shall represent the interest of  JIEDDO/JCOE/ACOE at all times. Responsible for serving as a direct information conduit under the command and control of JCOE/ACOE and shall report directly to an authority to be identified at ACOE. Responsible for providing early awareness and influence to pending decisions, actions or orders, especially those that impact the missions of JIEDDO/JCOE/ACOE. Responsible for research, reports, coordination, discussion and representation at various technical and content meetings or directly related to actions or events that will impact JIEDDO/JCOE/ACOE. 

Qualifications

Must be a former or retired senior officer (0-5/0-6), US Army. Must be knowledgeable in C-IED topics and familiar with JIEDDO organization and mission. Must be a CGSC (MEL 4), SAMS and/or Senior Service College (MEL1) (War College graduate preferred). Must have prior Brigade/BN Commander in OIF/OEF or similar tactical experience. Hold a current Secret Security Clearance.
