About the Post 

We are seeking: 

The IT Services department provides information systems development and support, IT infrastructure, and IT services for staff and students. ITS Administrative Applications Systems team forms part of Corporate Applications which also includes HR, Finance and Library systems.

A vacancy has arisen in ITS Administrative Applications Systems team to assist in the delivery, support and development of the Estates and Administrative applications. These include Hospitality and Catering management, Student Accommodation, Estates and IT Help Desk and other Administrative applications.

The post will suit someone with experience in the support and application of these types of systems and related technologies. 

Responsibilities

The post-holder will be able to work on their own initiative within the context of the ITS Administrative Applications systems team and the wider context of ITS Corporate Applications.

The ideal candidate will:
  • contribute to the delivery of a rich experience across the Administrative applications.
  • help build and maintain close links with College staff.
  • keep track of emerging technologies and information trends as they apply to the above applications.
  • help develop new ways of exploiting the above applications.
Experience of working within a university or other educational context will be considered advantageously.


Remuneration & Benefits

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range £34,283 - £40,335 per annum inclusive of London Allowance Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan. 

Additional Information
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
