Position

The Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium is looking for an ‘Administrative Assistant’ to carry out a wide range of administrative tasks as well as assist with the work of the Political Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the EU. The role requires the candidate to be a native English speaker with excellent communications skills.
The candidate will be required to, among other things, draft and edit a variety of English language documents and correspondence. The role also requires that the candidate partake in other daily office operations such as making appointments, maintaining a database, assisting with travel arrangements, organizing seminars, and performing other office tasks as required.

Profile and Skill Set Required

  • Native English speaker;
  • Working knowledge of French and/or Dutch (desirable);
  • Demonstrable experience of administrative work preferably in an international and multi-tasking environment;
  • Education to (minimum) undergraduate degree level;
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc);
  • Ability to work under time constraints and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of the EU Institutions, Taiwan, and Taiwan’s relationship with the European Union.
