You'll be joining BBC Scotland in the build up to one of its most exciting and significant years with the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Scottish Independence Referendum both happening in 2014. The HR team will play a critical role in delivering the people and engagement strategy for each of these events

Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a 12 month attachment/fixed term contract as an HR Business Partner in BBC Scotland. In this hugely challenging and rewarding business facing role, working with senior managers across a range of output departments from News & Current Affairs to Drama and Childrens, and to take the lead on a number of strategic HR projects. You will develop a people strategy that enables the management teams to achieve their ambitions and will provide expert technical advice, pro-actively drive cultural & organisational change as well as influence stakeholders to ensure pragmatic effective people solutions. 

Requirements

You’ll have substantial experience working as an HR Business Partner in a large complex organisation and will have strong technical skills across the full range of HR activities. We need your demonstrable strong people management skills and leadership capability within a team and across functions. In addition, you'll have strong stakeholder management & influencing through change experience.
