Information and communication technology specialist , Singapore
Chemonics seeks an information and communication technology specialist
for a long-term position under a five-year, USAID-funded project to
support US-Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). The project
will support regional economic integration within APEC member states
under APEC's three pillar framework of trade and investment
liberalization, business facilitation, and economic and technical
cooperation; and assist its work program to ultimately achieve the Bogor
Goals of free and open trade and investment in the region. The project
is anticipated to begin November 2013. We are looking for individuals

the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of the new SharePoint-based initiatives (Upgraded Versions, Third-Party Solutions, and Integration with additional Enterprise Systems)
- Create requirements documents and technical design documents, test documentation including unit testing, system integration testing, and implementation plans for small to complex projects
- Recommend and validate solutions to address business needs and opportunities, and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution
- Provide technical support of customized business applications and SharePoint out-of-box service applications
- Develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, and site collections
- Perform system administrative activities including site creation, user training, backup, and restore and issue resolution
- Oversee the on-premise SharePoint Portal Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment; support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure
- Maintain and administer Microsoft SharePoint Portal, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
- Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related to the development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment (understanding the relationship with active directory, SQL, IIS, etc.)
- Mentor, create transition documentation and assistance to client team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong Microsoft technologies background with product specialist knowledge in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS SharePoint Portal ServerXML Web Services and SQL Server Experience in configuring MOSS in an Enterprise Environment)
- Strong knowledge transfer and capacity building skills
- Minimum five years of experience with web technologies and concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT), hands on ASP.NET, Security (Active Directory, ISA), Networking (DNS, HTTP, SSL), Email (SMTP), Database (T-SQL, PL/SQL, normalization), and Storage (SAN) concepts
- Minimum five years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
- Good knowledge of SharePoint API and web services
- Strong understanding of Requirements Engineering, Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, and production change control processes
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 architecture
- Minimum three years of experience working with SharePoint 2010 platform in an administrative capacity
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in English required
