Development Executive - Funding

Are you a committed, hard-working fundraiser with a reputation for attracting new donors and funds needed for strategic programmes?  Do you have what it takes to secure and contract manage funding from a wide range of donors and share these skills with our members, so that even more girls can benefit from girl guiding and girl scouting?

Working closely with a small Europe Region team of staff and volunteers, you will manage the funding strategy for WAGGGS in Europe.  You will oversee the development of high quality, strategic funding proposals, fund management processes that ensure strong accountability to donors and capacity building that enables our members to raise and manage the funds needed for their work. 

Apart from an outstanding track record in bringing in funding, nurturing new donors and managing projects and budgets, you will have strong competencies to work with people from different cultures, have written and spoken fluency in English language (to native standard) be proactive, problem solving, accountable and skilled at managing a varied and busy workload.  You will be compelling in your communications and passionate about making a difference to the lives of girls and young women through guiding and girl scouting.
