If you are interested in developing an understanding of how a major International NGO operates as well as gaining some hands on experience and developing skills here’s a great opportunity to do just that with ActionAid.
Join us and you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that supports colleagues working on emergency preparedness and response (including response to conflict) across the ActionAid federation.
Day-to-day you will learn about our emergency response, preparedness and resilience work as you conduct desk research on funding sources for emergency responses in our operational areas, as well as gather and collate information on ongoing emergencies. You will also help produce communications materials by providing editorial and documentation support.
Having worked in an office environment you will have good admin and research skills. You know how to extract information from the internet and can demonstrate strong information gathering and writing skills. Able to work on your own initiative, you will be highly organised, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are good using MS Office.
Meet our criteria and you can look forward to a fantastic experience that will be thoroughly rewarding and standout on your CV.
