Professor of economics with a specialisation in macroeconomics

Stockholm University invites applications for the following position:
Professor of economics 
with a specialisation in macroeconomics,
at the Department of Economics (ref nr SU FV-2417-13)

The Department of Economics currently has thirteen full professors, five associate professors, and a number of postdocs and lecturers. We have a strong focus on high quality research and teaching. About 1200 undergraduate students are currently enrolled. The doctoral programme, which has about 60 students, is among the best in Europe. The position involves macroeconomic research and teaching at all levels as well as leadership responsibilities at the department and as a member of the faculty. The successful applicant is expected to have a strong publication record in international journals, within macroeconomics, and to have demonstrated teaching proficiency at various levels.
