Job Summary
The Project Manager/Geologist will oversee field work associated with environmental projects, interpret data collected and prepare technical reports. Initially position functions as technical support/Project Manager. Approximately 30-40% travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of the proper use of field monitoring and sampling equipment, collection of field notes, gathering and interpreting data and preparing regulatory reports.
- Act as Project Manager and manage scope, schedule and budget of all environmental projects.
Other Requirements
- BS in Geology or other Physical Science
- 10+ years of recent environmental experience
- Must be safety conscious and.
- Familiarity with field skills and requirements associated with monitoring for contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, nutrients and/or pesticides.
- Knowledge of ADEQ PST regulations
- Proficient at Microsoft applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed as a Professional Geologist in Arkansas is a plus but not required
- OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training required.
